The Yenagoa General hospital is located in the Yanagoa, Capital city of Bayelsa State on an approximately 28 hectares of land. The contract includes the Design and Construction of 500 beds general hospital including all electrical and mechanical installations and infrastructural works.
The complex is constructed in two-storey comprising a semi-circular core containing Medico-technical, Logistics and Administrative areas. The external works comprise roads and car parking, surface water drainage, culvert crossing, foul water network, water supply network including borehole, power supply and street lighting, landscaping, fence and gates. The structure comprises concrete columns and beams on a grid system bearing on concrete raft foundation.
Projected aluminium windows are used in areas of maximum hygiene and sliding windows in other areas.
