The Silverbird 12-screen Cinemas Abuja is an intimidating and magnificent entertainment centre close to the FCT Cultural Village.
The work comprises of 4-storey building with additional basement floor and one mezzanine floor. The ground and first floor are shops, a life style on the second floor, 12 screen cinema on the third floor while the fourth floor is the penthouse floor rooms.
The construction generally is of reinforced concrete framed structure on column bases and strip footing foundation. The partitions are mainly in concrete block walls rendered and finished in high quality paint internally and externally.
In order to live up to its status as a world class entertainment centre, the choice of the finishing materials was painstakingly done. The floor finish is a mixture of vitrified tiles, granite and marble tiles all imported from Europe. The ceiling is generally in POP and metal ceiling in wet areas.
